We will start the first day of our 4-Day Desert tour from Marrakech to Rabat by picking you up from your Hotel in Marrakech, and driving you through the adventurous roads and winding passes of Tizi N Tichka.
First, we will pass by the marvelous thousand kasbahs heading towards Ait Benhaddou to tour, explore and discover one of the most beautiful fortified royal palaces.
After that, we will have our lunch in a traditional berber restaurant before continuing towards Ouarzazate, the door of the Royal Sahara, where we will walk through its old souks and alleyways. We will also visit the impressive Film Studio of Ouarzazate, an old Moroccan marvel where some of Hollywood’s greatest movies and series were made such as: Game of Thrones, Babel, The Jewel of the Nile, Gladiator…
Next, we will continue towards Dades valley, crossing the beautiful palmary of skoura and the fascinating Valley of roses, a beautiful green paradise of the Sahara desert where upon our arrival, we will have a traditional berber dinner, then spend the night in a lovely local hotel.
After a delicious fresh breakfast overlooking the beautiful natural views of the valley in the morning of the 2nd day of our 4-Day Desert tour from Marrakech to Rabat, we will leave the Dades valley for Todra gorges, “the magnificent canyons of Morocco ” where we will explore its remarkable orange cliffs and cliff-sided canyons, discovering a stunning combination of Atlas mountains and charming desert.
Later on, we will pursue our Desert tour from Marrakech to Rabat passing by Rissani Sahara, visiting its colorful market where we will get a tour of the old village, exploring its old culture and getting a real glimpse of the authentic Moroccan architecture.
Last, we will head towards Merzouga, the golden village. Upon our arrival we will go camel riding heading towards our exotic camp right in the heart of the desert, where we will have the most delicious dinner and spend the night staring at the most beautiful starry saharan night sky.
We will wake up bright and early on the 3rd day of our 4-Day Desert tour from Marrakech to Rabat to catch a magical sunrise over the golden sands of an endless Sahara. After breakfast and a warm shower, we will continue our journey towards Erfoud and the dramatic views of Ziz Gorges.
After having a delicious lunch in the old berber village of Midelt, we will drive through the high cliffs of the Middle Atlas Mountains and its charming cool nature, leaving behind the hot Sahara.
Next, we will pass by Azrou, a fascinating berber town, with the largest Cedar forest, where we will stop for a break to walk in the woods, get some fresh air and play with the little tricky monkeys, before continuing through Ifrane, the little Switzerland of Morocco, to arrive at Fes late in the evening where we will head straight to our mesmerizing historical Riad to spend the night.
On the 4th and the last day of our 4-Day Desert tour from Marrakech to Rabat, we will have a delicious moroccan breakfast in our mesmerizing riad before we start exploring the incredible old Medina of Fez, from its captivating Royal palace’s brass doors to the Jnane Sbile Gardens and the Mellah jewish quarter to wandering through the narrow streets of the old Medina, lined with the most beautiful Moroccan handicrafts.
After lunch, we will leave the old city of Fez heading towards the charming Moroccan capital, Rabat, passing by Meknes where we will explore the unique culture of this 17th-century old capital and its impressive historical sites, such as Bab El Mansour and Sahrij Essouani.
Once we get to Rabat, our driver will drop you off at your desired destination marking the end of the 4-Day Desert tour from Marrakech to Rabat and our journey together.
