Our Fes day trip from Casablanca starts by picking you up from your hotel in Casablanca then driving to Fez through the most captivating natural views.
On arrival, we will meet our local guide and start a sightseeing tour in the newer part of the city called the New Medina, before venturing into old medina of fes, witnessing the city’s majestic architecture and soaking up the sights, smells and sounds as you pass craft workshops, busy mosques and aromatic food stalls.
While on our Old Medina tour we will visit the Attarine Medersa ( an educational institute built by the Merinide people) and the Kairaouine Mosque and university ( one of the continent’s largest mosques and possibly the oldest university in the world ) non-Muslims are not permitted inside the mosque, but you’ll admire it from the outside.
Later in the day, we will visit Fès el-bali, wander in the middle of souks, walk by stalls filled with goods and witness craftsmen creating their magical pieces of leather, metal and ceramic goods.
At the end of our wonderful short trip, we will drive back to Casablanca where our driver will drop you off at your hotel.
