  • Sahara holiday tour helped us arrange a 11 day tour around Morocco. The price is reasonable among a few other tour companies and include activities like quad bike and camel ride. The riad are all very beautiful. The driver Yassine is very helpful and took us to all the famous attractions. Overall a very enjoyable experience and save us a lot of trouble.

Is Morocco safe for LGBT TRAVELLERS?

First thing first, LGBTQ+ in Morocco is religiously a BIG NO, and here’s why: the state religion of Morocco is Islam and because Islam is anti-LGBTQ+, the Moroccan people are also against that.

It’s considered illegal and can be punished with anything from 6 months to 3 years imprisonment and a fine of 100 US dollars, also article 490 criminalizes any sexual relationship before marriage.

However, if you’re a tourist, authorities have no problems with that, especially in big cities like Casablanca, Rabat, and Marrakesh, as long as you avoid attracting attention to yourself (no romantic acts while in the streets), you can do whatever you want back in your hotel room.
